I think the most underplayed element of the series aside from the other NERV branches being explored is just how much glowie tier shit they were up to, You think they were essentially committing massive acts of Human Trafficking of pilots from all the schools they reaped from in the name of stopping the angels? It's those sort of questions that freak me out the most but I want to know more
