If you told me that America was run by vampires that feed off of suffering, I'd believe you. I don't know if this is news outside of America, but the media has everyone convinced that there's an opioid epidemic. It's tough to get painkillers even if you have chronic pain, and you really can't blame the doctors because they can be imprisoned for prescribing too many painkillers and it's happened quite often. And then we all collectively scratch our heads as to why our suicide rate has been on a steady climb since 2006. I fucking hate this place.
