Even while I'm learning songs, or trying to practise anything really, I often find myself losing focus and just messing around really, haha. But it's fun and practice in it's own right, so I'm not too bothered! Haven't heard of some of those bands, so I'll have to take a closer look, but really cool to see Plug in Baby there! I really dig the guitar play!
Something you could do if you want second opinions, if you haven't tried already is to sort of do things backward - learn the song by ear first and then look up tabs, and compare how those sound, and hopefully it sounds the same! You've of course got to keep in mind a lot of tabs are off, but it'll give you a hint at least!
