Yeah, it's never nice to have to deal with unpleasant people, but compared to actual good newcomers I've hardly seen any such people (from /a/ or anywhere else) during my time here, probably because this place is so quiet and largely uncontroversial that they'd find trolling and whatnot to not be worth much.
