>>4136680Nothing anyone says ever makes these films sound any good. I feel like the bulk of the “good” that comes from these movies exists in theory, rather than the films themselves. The message seems to take precedence over the actual movie as an experience. Like, are they even fun to watch? I re-watch the originals all the time, but I’ve only ever watched any of the rebuild films once or twice a piece. For example, what’s your favorite scene from 3.0+1.0 that involves Asuka? For me, nothing really comes to mind.
