I could not stand the fandom's shipping wars, in series however any shipping was vague and light and mostly filler pushing the anime's bias.
It never bothered me.
What did bother me, sorry If I go off the rails here, was how the character's relationships were handled in the finale of the manga.
Kubo went the Naruto route, after a pointless 10 year timeskip everyone is married and has a kid.
Including Rukia.
She ended up married to an absolute prick, an abusive coward who doesn't deserve her.
I'll go into more detail regarding my disdain for that choice if you'd like.
Though it's something I like to blotch out of my mind, at first I ended up questioning if we could carry on, but I decided that I fell in love with her way before these asinine choices were made and the Rukia I hold in my heart isn't the same one damaged by weak writing by the end of the show.

But later on, around the time she gets her powers back they're about two dozen Shinigami added to the character cast, it's not a unique outfit at all, and I missed her legs, hahaha.
Sheik's design is cool though, and skintight outfits are rather attractive if I might add, haha.
