Over the course of the anime Chika really matured. She went from a normal girl who never got into something because her heart wasn't into it and would give up to someone who got crazy passionate and never gave up on being a school idol and finding her radiance.
As for SIF/AS, the magazines and other things. She doesn't grow in the same way and I consider them more a look into everyday Chika. Like her mischievous side, or her being nervous about performing solo. Things like that.
