Sorry to resurface old traumas but this scene is just unbelievable.
It teases this scene at the prologue. That part is great and has a cute Rin moment. But the full event half a game later is atrocious.
The problem isn't even only the play, but the whole sequence leading up to it and even what happens after. It starts with a fairly cute scene about Rin not knowing how to operate a fax machine but that's where the cuteness ends. The play speaks for itself. Even Karen's introduction at the end is handled badly, considering how the game has been teasing that moment as something important from the very start
