>>2761419Angel Beats was ok, good concept and good individual episodes really let down by the fact it was 12 episodes. The plot jumped without build up, the world wasn't internally consistent, some characters didn't develop so much as jump and the self narrated "this character had a bad life, feel sad now" were just bad.
If it was 24 episodes we'd have had time for characters to develop more naturally, time for the plot to progress more naturally and more things like the excellent train tunnel section where the characters back stories are actually framed in a way that makes you feel something.
