>>3062811For the record, I'm adding this first so you have no excuse to have missed it by skimming my posts: No one is saying 1.11 or 2.22 much less 3.33 are collectively or individually better than their corresponding or at least comparable parts of the original. The problem is that you engage in proxy-argumentation.
Your arguments express problems concerning the differences and not the similarities. Hence I'm right.
Adding that "rehashing it was a mistake" is as per the arguments you made fundamentally a complaint about the differences and not the similarity, as you criticized it BECAUSE IT FAILED TO BE THE SAME. Not because it was the exact same.
In short your criticism is too vague to have meaning and too unpragmatic to actually provide material for further discussion. Now, I know for a fact that I'm not stupid - so every time you try insulting me you're just wasting your time.
The fact remains that the first and second Rebuild movie, with and without differences were on their own sufficiently good to excite and create a good story by the time it ended. That certainly doesn't qualify as "shit" unless you're autistically obsessed and like I said, set the bar unrealistically high - to the point where debating or discussing the subject matter becomes pointless.
So yes, your pokanami-rhetoric is a strawman. Your arguments re: 1.11 can indeed be boiled down to an obsession with the fact that it's different. I'm sorry you're too much of a brainlet to understand the depths of self-delusion you've fallen into.
If there's anything we can agree on, it's the things I mentioned first in this post. The Rebuilds are shit, but it's not like they didn't have potential or things that worked well.
