Assuming I unfortunately had to work on my birthday, Sheik would know that I wouldn't want anything too big. I get pretty exhausted after work and my love would know to not make me have to feel more drained than I already would. Hopefully, she would just invite my immediate family, buy a cake, and the normal stuff.

All that she would need to do is hide everyone in a room I wouldn't go in, let me put my stuff down, and right when I'm not expecting it, throw a deku nut to blind me for a couple seconds, and have my family and herself run out to say 'SURPRISE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY' and such.
