>>3588533>Tell me about your waifuWell Miia is a young woman from a village located vaguely in the hidden outskirts of Greece, who entered Japan as a foreign exchange student after the Extraspecies Exchange Act came into effect. She loves fashion and buys clothes online all the time, her favorite show is apparently Precure since she always wanted to be a magical girl, and she's actually a lot more shy and new to love in general than most people assume she is based on impressions. People mostly see her as a clingy vindictive woman, but don't recognize that she never grew up with boys her age around her village. Especially not ones who stayed long. So her acting in certain ways to get a boy's attention isn't a sign of her personality, but more the circumstances of her upbringing I think.
>How long have you been together? What drew you to her in the first place? For about 5 years. Though I've known about her since her manga was only 5 chapters old, back in 2013. I think what drew me to her manga, and her in general, was the sheer fact that I found lamias and other monstergirls interesting to begin with. Mythology blended with romance was a thing I really liked seeing in stories, and I saw Okayado had a lot of small one page stories on danbooru of just that, before he began drawing a full, serialized manga as it is now.
Miia was really special since in her first 2 chapters she seemed so vulnerable. Or rather, willing to make herself vulnerable. She expressed how happy she was to not be turned away from being a part of the house, how upset she felt from the assumption that people could possibly only be nice to her because they're afraid of getting arrested for acting otherwise and how she wanted to prove how harmless she was, and how she was angry enough to want to cry at being insulted by that American couple.
Something about that, and just how beautiful her eyes are, made me really like her. And the more I read, the more I really enjoyed seeing her.
