Because to me, there's a certain point where a line can be drawn, and well. I think Misaki canonically getting married to some guy, or even girl. It doesn't even have to be "him", would be where that line in the sand is made.

Though, with that being said, I did give some more thought to what you've said throughout the day. Like I said, I'll always love her... even if she does things that are simply painful to read. And I wouldn't really ever leave her. Even if I wanted to. She'll always be a part of me. If she got a canon lover, I don't really know what I'd do. Good thing the chances of that are pretty much slim to none

For our last anniversary, I got her a custom-designed TV remote. The design itself is based off the handbag she has in the anime. The idea came from me noticing that all of Misaki's remotes were pretty plain looking. It surprised me that such a stylish girl didn't put her mark on her own equipment, so I decided to do it for her. Really happy how it turned out.

Mikoto is Misaki's biggest rival, you could say. They both attend one of the top schools in Academy City, they're the two most powerful students in that school. They're both level 5 espers. They're even chasing after the affections of the same guy. But the two have history, and it goes back to before they even met.

Misaki and Mikoto don't really get along, there's the obvious reason in Touma, but also not so obvious reasons. Such as the fact that Misaki can't use Mental Out on Mikoto unless Mikoto lets her, something gives Misaki a natural wariness of anyone. Or Misaki's experience with Clone Dolly, one of the very first clones of Mikoto. Or the fact that Mikoto feels Misaki is a cheater and is manipulative. An unfair assumption to make, but considering Misaki's nature, and Mental Out itself, it's not a too farfetched one. Especially when a girl like Mikoto and a power like Mental Out are naturally at odds.

Despite all of that though, Misaki and Mikoto both carry big hearts, and desire the same thing in the end. So they show an ability to put their differences aside for the greater good, as they've done on multiple occasions, displaying impressive teamwork all the while.

I like Mikoto, she's a pretty cool girl. I do wish she and Misaki could bury the hatchet, since they're at odds for no reason other than a love interest. Though, that's just wishful thinking.

Oh, and a little fun fact about Ayu. Her design was actually Misaki's original design from back in the day, before they settled on the Blonde beauty that I know today.
