I see the discussion in the last thread, and I think it might have been some kind of mental telepathy link, but it could just as well have been a loudspeaker.
It's interesting, but we can actually do that mind-thing today. I saw the details of some research and experiments, and you can actually project sound into the "heads" of others, which is inaudible to others.
Your head is this big, watery jar which you can using the right technology, make vibrate and produce sound for you to pick up.
