It takes a long time to find an artist whose style is just right, then you have to save up money if you don't have it on hand, then you have to wait for them to open commissions, then you have to slide into their DMs in the two minutes they're open, then you have to wait for it to be done, then you have to wait for the daki printing service to complete the cover and send it to you. This all takes time, even more if you are picky, and most people probably will be if this is for a daki. Go easy on yourself. There's nothing wrong with a placeholder.
>recommendationsIt's hard to know what exactly you might be looking for but pixiv has a section for artists that are currently taking commissions which can cut down on wait time. Skeb is good too if you're willing to sift through a lot of hentai.
There is also twitter but that is extremely disorganized and not my first recommendation.
