I think she would approve, mechanical engineering pays well enough to support us and if I get into the field I want I would be helping people which she would approve of very much.
Maybe just a long sword, nothing fancy but it's reliable and it gets the job done.
She can be, I rarely am so I think it would work out very nicely.
