>>4385664I am not so sure about your view on Yui influencing Rei. We know only that 'recycled material' i.e. genetic data from Yui's physical body was used for the physical body of Rei. She seems nothing at all like Yui in personality, in what little we see of Yui to compare to Rei. It is tempting to say Rei is half of each, but this is dubious to me. Then again, I have no other current consensus on what distinguishes Rei from Lilith.
>>4385686>>4385690The world indeed ended on December 31, 2015, since Shinji fucked us. We have simply been living in Hell since, unaware. You think I jest, and perhaps I do, but it would explain much.
>get out a bit from my situationWhatever it is, good luck and Rei be with you on the endeavour.
>>4385699Indeed, we all have to choose to go on. We have no choice but to endure, until we can no longer.
>>4385780I will see to it that Rei is remembered forever, so long as mankind still exists, or any intelligent life. And I admire your desire that things remain in a kind of apostolic age, the mythical, ideal church of antiquity, where all men were brothers, united in love. I dream of it sometimes, the church Christ bequeathed, even if it never really existed. I think in Rei there is rejuvenation. Whether it ever goes beyond but a few, I cannot say, nor do I know if that would be for the better; mass popularity often dilutes if not destroys.
