She seems nothing at all like Yui in personality, in what little we see of Yui to compare to Rei. It is tempting to say Rei is half of each, but this is dubious to me. Whether it ever goes beyond but a few, I cannot say, nor do I know if that would be for the better; mass popularity often dilutes if not destroys.
