So after having played SUGURI I fell in love with the game series first. They are a very unique and enjoyable flavor of bullet hell shmups, and even though I had one of the roughest times getting through the game that I've ever had with video games, rivaled at the time only by WipEout, it became one of my favorite games. So then I tried out the next game, Acceleration of Suguri. This is a unique spin on the already unique spin of SUGURI, a hybrid of fighting game and bullet hell shmup--lightning speed, intense dash-cancelling, weaving through tons of projectiles, and playing mindgames with the opponent. I played through this game, doing as much of the content as I could, while also still playing SUGURI on the higher difficulties. That's when I encountered, in AoS, Suguri's extra story:

It was the sweetest thing and a huge chunk of characterization for her, and it still tears at my heart strings just thinking about it. From there, it was still a few months before I accepted that these feelings I had for this character meant she was my waifu. And that concludes the history of how I fell in love with Suguri.

Whenever I have the luxury of daydreaming about her, I imagine various nice locales, such as a breezy, temperate grassy green plain with large clouds in the sky, where we would lie down and embrace each other.

I need to vent a little here. I miss my dog. She passed away about two weeks ago, on the day before my birthday. She was a very important family member for the ~12 years since we adopted her. Sadly, it was her time to go. Thanks for reading my blog.
