Gets a lot easier when you're interacting with others, like in chat rooms. Folks let their guards down, fall into comfortable habits, make some Steam friends. Before you know it, you can sniff them out even on 4chan. Crap, I'm about 95% confident I served on 4chan's Armored Core team with the one and only ACfag. Have him on Steam, too.
