Although I like Dokkan, I feel that it is missing something when compared to the previous Doremi series. Maybe it's the sense of urgency or suspense from the plot. Maybe the lack of a rival like Onpu, Oyaji, or the previous Queen. I'm not sure because Naisho didn't need that. It just relied on what IMHO is the best writing of many individual episodes from all Doremi shows. I like all characters and the first few episodes were good, but Dokkan still didn't manage to excite me like the other series did. Hopefully it will bring in the big guns in future episodes.
