We've seen Torbjorn be more solemn and receive more development (such as it was) over his involvement with the omnics, which happened offscreen. I feel like that night represents her lowest moment; something very personal that should have a lasting effect on her. But there's no closure to be had if it goes unacknowledged. Like I said: I'm not averse to hardship, but with no payoff, what purpose does such an ordeal serve other than just being miserable?
"Buttblasted"? [Glass breaking sound] Bwuh? Consider their perspective, dude. She killed one of Ana's colleagues, shot out her eye and basically ruined her life; she killed someone Lena cared about right in front of her, plunged her hometown into chaos, laughed in her face about it, personally injured her, and got away scot-free. Those aren't the kinds of things you can just shrug off, and as far as I know, none of them are privy to the full story, so they have no reason to think anything else of her. I dislike the line of thinking that she's somehow unaccountable for her actions due to her circumstances. Talon has let her out in public in cocktail attire without her equipment or a leash, so she seems to possess some agency and isn't just some meat robot who mindlessly does everything they say. She still clearly enjoys what she does, she still openly gloats about it, and she's done nothing to apologize or explain herself to the people she's hurt; so until she does, no one owes her anything. I'm not denying her circumstances are tragic, but that doesn't mean she's entitled to no consequences for hurting people, nor that her victims should just be okay with it.
Joke's on all of us! There is no winning the Blizzard Bowl, my friend. The ride never ends, and we are all of us trapped and damned. Nice video, though. I’d like to cuddle an Elite.
