>>4178972The M51 makes sense. IIRC it's the predecessor to the M65 and uses that same button on hood with the fur trim. I suppose that would make the M65 with the same hood a decent substitute. The hood certainly sells it more than anything. Either way there would still be modification to be done for the rest of the fur trim. I'm sure just about any OD green military jacket could be used with that in mind. Realistically anything that already has the fur trim was made for extremely cold environments anyway so it'd be more practical to have something a little lighter.
