>>3209249On one hand, her series is great and deserves more attention. On the other, people will use her as an object for their degeneracy more than any other because she's the flagship character, which upsets me greatly. It's very selfish of me, but I prefer to keep it to myself. I do like the idea of getting more people to play the games, but such an increase in popularity is a double-edged sword--and is unlikely to happen.
The first game came out in 2005. Popularity and interest peaked a long time ago, and people who get into 100% OJ don't end up going further too often. A localized release of the most recent game, Acceleration of Suguri 2, came out earlier this year, but that didn't get too much attention. When it got into the Humble Bundle a little while ago, people were just giving away the keys for the game left and right because nobody had any interest in this literally who game. Currently, the game has a few very dedicated players. I don't play the game often because I suck at fighting games and bullet hells, and AoS2 is a mix of both, and the people who do play are way beyond my skill level. Plus, I'm way too addicted to EDF.
