>>4084265You can play it without VR; it's basically like a 30 minute OVA so look at it with that viewpoint. You'll only need VR if you want to enjoy the virtual headpat mode.
Generally speaking, I only recommend VR to enthusiasts who feel like they'll use it somewhat frequently and get its worth out of the investment. It's a relatively young and expensive technology so a lot of the games are simple or experimental in nature. There's still some good ones I've gotten a lot of hours out of, though.
I bought my headset specifically to play Spicy VR and enjoyed it, overall.
