Got slammed by my battery cpt who is liked by no one and does not give a single damn about his subordinates opinions. Acted like a complete child and begged for us to be maxed. ltc had to accommodate for him so as not to undermine, now I'm dropped two ranks and have a ton of extra duty and no pay. Lots of work down the drain. I'm at the end of my contract in 8 months, so if his conduct isn't corrected I'm just leaving. I'll go somewhere I can actually be allowed to do the right thing, and help people other than power tripping psychos. Terrible leadership is the bane of retention after all.
