>>2055441everyone will tell you to learn anatomy but that takes some practice. So in the mean time think about what pose you want to draw. Then look up pictures using similar poses to see how different artist draw it. That will give you a good idea where to start. especially when it come to hands and feet. a quick Google search for "how to draw hand/feet" will get you a lot of pose sheets.
Proportions is also important. When I got frustrated because my pictures wasn't turning out cute at all I start to look what makes a picture cute. I found out I was making the forehead too small. In general I find that distance from the top of the head to half past the eyes should be one to one and a half times the distance from eyes to the chin. This pic has about a one and half time sized forehead.
