>>3789542>2020, the decade-long yearThis is shockingly accurate.
>What am I striving for? That's a difficult question to answer without saying the obvious: have fun, good job, good friends, a safe place to live, and general satisfaction in life. Specifically right now I'm striving to enjoy the present and be happy with myself as a person; I've been really obsessed with the past and the future for a long time and it's been making me nuts. I moved somewhat recently and I'm treating this as a fresh start to become a happier person.
One of my next moves would be finding a teacher for the instrument I'm learning. I'm still furnishing the place, so I'm going to wait a bit for that. Other than that, I'm already in the process of my next move. I'm doing well at work, learning a lot and taking on new responsibilities. I'm also taking an online class that could lead to a certification, which could open up several career paths. Essentially, I'm keeping my eyes open and putting myself in a good position for positive change.
>Are you happy with how this year has gone so far?I've made a lot of great strides this year, even the things that have gone "bad" have been some valuable learning experiences and I'm glad to have learned from them. Overall, I'd say I'm quite happy with how I've done.
>factors both within and outside ourselves can change the answers (sometimes without us even noticing). That's what I'm hoping for. I hope the next move is something that's revealed to me in due time and that when it is, I'll be ready.
