I don't agree with him that they are reduced to base archetypes for the record.
But that character you posted there for instance, fully qualifies as an intentional mockery of the original Rei created not to be a character in itself, as much as to deny another character being improved upon, and of course, to create this very kind of butthurt I'm exuding now.
