When I first heard of "waifu", I went around saying Rikka (as I had just gotten into Chuunibyo). She's adorable and cuddly, no question. But then I thought about it; I think my 7 year old /sister/ is adorable and cuddly, too.
So I thought more on it, and suddenly I remember the emotionless girl who could break into closed off spaces with barely any effort, if any at all. The girl who could reach into Closed Spaces with some work. The girl who, after going through >15000 loops, SNAPPED and rewrote reality to get it all to stop...but left an escape for the one person she cares about. Then I realized:
She isn't someone I just want to hold, or protect, or whatever. I want to see her at her best. To have all the power she has, and not have need or want to use them because she's just THAT happy with things.
So, hands down, Yuki.
