Her wallpaper would either be a picture of us, or a photo of some nice scenery. Likely somewhere far away from her home. She'd text me constantly, sending me impromptu poems, or taking photos of anything that reminds her of me.

The key to art really is just not giving up and not getting discouraged. I know, easier said than done, and admittedly I can't always follow my own advice, but practice, consistency, and stepping outside your comfort zone are the most important parts of learning how to draw.
