>>2142322I'm not even going to pretend I'm not a diehard romantic. Hell, Revy herself would probably call me a naive idiot (or something else to that effect, but with more cussing). But what makes life worth living isn't guns, or money, or power. It's finding that small measure of peace and holding on to it. I've seen it happen myself. Sometimes, just sometimes, people really do get their long deserved happy endings, if they're strong enough to reach for it. It's been a slow process, but Revy is slowly letting herself believe that again. That belief has become her salvation, her one lifeline in the cesspool she lives in. And the fact that she was tough enough to maintain that one last shred of humanity though all that, that one last piece of her heart, is why I love her.
