>>4009939like take the scene where he has a breakdown in 3.0, and the music is just a bunch of random piano notes. you cant tell me it would better capture his mental state if it was a structured, flowing piece of music. its mesnt to be disorienting and its designed to represent certain emotions. the rebuilds are written incredibly well, because they seem like they aren't and thats the point.
again i get that this sounds really pretentious, and im going to finish by restating this is just what i believe, and you can have your own opinions on the series, since at the end of the day evangelion was designed to be a personal experience for the people the watch it to interperet however they want.
