>>3738347Of course I would. In fact, my ultimate goal is finding a girl with similar personality and goals - hopefull even looks - to my waifu and helping her grow according to them (I am growing according to my goals as well, obviously). She would still be different from Arcueid but it's absolutely fine. Being picky about minor, unnecessary details is counterproductive. Ideas always have some room for interpretation.
>Or would she be tainted? Our world is definitely imperfect and chaotic but this is where love is supposed to come into play. It's a creative process. Love ought to transform someone that is imperfect in accordance with their own higher ideals. Having a waifu means you understand your ideal of a woman. This makes it better than reducing love to sex or even to mundane, bland, empty traditional marriage: one starts from the correct place and it shows one refuses to succumb to this world. Yet a waifu is still only a part of true love. No matter how you put it, she's still an idea, an abstraction or a collection of intentions. One has to go on and transform the world.
