When someone described him as being a dog - Diogenes responded by biting them. He also had a habit of pissing on random passersby and essentially told Alexander the Great to fuck off when Alexander came to see him.
In particular he had a love of trolling Plato. In one incident, Plato defined man as "a featherless biped". Diogenes on hearing this, plucked a chicken, went to where Plato was teaching and lobbed the chicken at him shouting "Behold Plato's man!"
