As for the Defender, it's just a cool design. I didn't even propose the idea, and the gentleman who did probably just thought it would be cool to have her fly it and wasn't even aware of what qualifications you would need.
Why are we talking about this? I just want to see Lena fly an X-Wing painted with her color scheme, does everything have to be complicated?
