>>2214126The anime is very open to interpretation, mostly because Lain is open to interpretation. We are given facts surrounding her but no explanation of what she really is. "Kami" suggests he made her with the wired, but it's pretty obvious he was just fooling himself, and it seems she either came with the wired like some sort of shadow, or she existed before the wired. As long as it's well though out and you have evidence to back it up, there are far too many explanations for far too many moments. The only REAL wrong thing you can believe about the show is that your interpretation is the right one.
