While there are it's not like the diffrence between "there" and "their" just an example 楽しむ "tanoshimu" means "enjoying yourself" but can also be translated to "having fun" or "appreciate" But it's a very contextual language, so more often than not it is really easy to read out the correct meaning and the meanings are usually very close to one another.
There are a few kanji with dual meanings, but you almost never see those meanings used outside of peoples names.
