>>3322098>What franchise is your waifu from? The Sacred Blacksmith, a fantasy light novel series about demons, demon swords, a blacksmith who can forge magic katanas for slaying demons, and Cecily's struggle to defend her city and loved ones from those who would use demons to conquer and destroy. Unfortunately the LN's themselves have not been translated, but there is an anime and manga adaptation that do have translations.
>What is your waifu's role in that franchise? She is the main character of the series, as the story is largely told from her perspective. She is a member of her city's knight guard, who protect the city and its people. She ends up fighting demons created by humans by sacrificing their flesh, befriending a demon blade who can turn human, and taking part in a war against an empire that uses demons for their own ends.
>What is your opinion on your waifu's franchise? Do you enjoy the franchise or do you only like it for her?I thought the story overall was pretty good, it kind of starts off slow but gets better as it goes on, and kept me interested until the end. However, I will say that Cecily was always the primary reason I chose to watch/read this series in the first place, and I enjoyed every part that she appeared in.
The anime adaptation, the version most westerners are familiar with, covers the first two volumes of the LN. Unfortunately it wasn't adapted faithfully, as it changed a lot of things around, made Cecily seem more weak and incompetent, and had filler that wasn't in the LN. Because it only covers the beginning of the series, it feels like it ended way too soon.
The manga adaption was much better than the anime, because it covers the majority of the LN, and was largely a faithful adaptation with great art. However it still cut out quite a bit of material from the LN sadly.
