Though I'd say Mai is way more mature and level-headed. If she was in Shinka's shoes I think she'd get along with Dekomori, whom she shares the same seiyuu funnily enough. Mai is good at getting along with younger girls and would often act as a role model for them, giving them something to emulate and aspire to. So she would end up looking up to her for sure.
She definitely won't lower herself to a younger girls' level. Her sister is a special case!
