>>3336915Makes me think of FFGSW, slightly...sorta. instead of numbers it you could get success, which is obvious, advantage, which will let you get extra benefits whether you succeed or fail, Triumph which is advantage, but turbocharged, then the negative versions of those, failure, threat, and despair respectively. Lets everyone get more 'involved' with the results, since the players can spend their adv. or tri. as they choose, and may get to spend thr. or desp. on hostile NPCs(At the GM's discretion). I like it, but might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Honestly this sounds pretty comfy, although I might add that some characters could also take on more active support roles. Tracer could fly a Dropship, which would increase it's speed, agility, Torbjorn could upgrade turrets that the team might call in, Pharah could spot enemies from above, and so on. Sort of lets them do their thing while still not being active. It's not like many of the Heroes to just sit out a fight, if that makes sense?
Apologies the post is so low, stupid me accidentally closed the box and I'm too tired to retype all of it, didn't really sleep well, so this year is off to a great start. But happy new year to everyone anyway, hope it'll go better than mine is set to.
