>>3465595>>3465645Zelda needed a disguise to hide from Ganon. Zelda, a Hylian, had been taken care of from the Sheikah people her whole childhood. She looked up to them. In fact, Impa, the Sheikah tribe leader was the one who helped her escape Ganon. (Note the OoT manga has more detail for these next parts, but I tend not to use it in my explanations. It isn't fully canon and unlike most people, I thought about and figured all of this myself with clues and deductions without reading the manga. I read the manga after figuring this next part out.) MOST people believe that Zelda, simply disguised herself as one of the Sheikah people and called her Sheik and that she only used the triforce to make the disguise a quick one to take on and off.
THIS IS WRONG! That is not what happened! The simple way (again without the manga) to debunk this:
Number 1, Ganon has one of the triforces. It is not easy to fool one of the triforce users. Do you really expect us to believe that a simple change of clothes and acting like a Sheikah would be enough to fool Ganon for SEVEN years? In that time she wouldn't make a single mistake that could reveal that identity? Also, Zelda was captured the MOMENT she transformed back from being Sheik. So this is evidence that Ganon did not know up until that point.
Number 2, Zelda had that disguise for SEVEN years. Once she leaves that disguise, wouldn't she show some of her mannerisms from when she was Sheik? Don't forget, Zelda would have needed to be Sheik 24/7 for seven years.
After figuring this out, I threw out the regular explanation and started to deduce what really was happening. You see, Sheik was NOT just a disguise. To be able to fool someone like Ganon, Zelda needed to be a completely different person. How can she do that? Simple. The triforce of wisdom created a completely new soul. Her name is Sheik. Sheik was created to have the mannerisms and personality of the Sheikah people. This way, nobody would think that Sheik is Zelda.
