She is familiar with the English language, since I think she was taught at school, but she isn't really that good at speaking it. The one time she attempted to communicate in English in the LN was adorable. However, I do know a bit about Japanese, enough to be able to read her LN. So even if we had trouble interacting at first I'm sure we'll be able to have proper conversations very quickly.
