"Latune" is from the darker parts of her past, though since the people who literally saved her life gave her the surname "Subbota" based off their own surnames, she's since come to like it as together they truly give her a unique name to call her own.
She doesn't have many personal goals past OG2, but in that game, her main motivation was to find and save her closest friends from what was basically a living hell. She would even fight them with intend to disable their machines towards this purpose, as due to the nature of... that place... they couldn't be talked out of it.
In terms of items, I'd say the glasses she wears counts. The transparent pair, not the pair that hid her eyes in early OG1. They were a gift from Shine, who is a close friend (and also the one who commissioned the machine specifically built for Lat to pilot).
And first impressions... well, she was quiet, very quiet... and an amazing pilot, the rates she was pulling (she can pretty much solo the first stage she appears on) made me want to keep deploying her, and things went from there.
