Rei and Asuka always had such a rivalry, but it was one-sided with Rei sorta being not willing to argue. With Mari, it's a bit more fun. She accepts Asuka being a pain in the ass and just kind of gives no fucks about it.

(I know some of you hate Shikinami, so apologies. I've got plenty of Sohryu to post, as well. I kind of like the softer side of Asuka that Shikinami adds, but it is a little disappointing that she loses a bit of her edge in the movies. Asuka is a fighter!)
