Farm adventures are good
Cows are nice
But neglecting the girls this series is actually about for half a year instead of just continuing to let people enjoy the twitter cows as a side thing, or even one off guest characters is not great.
The MON chapters always do it right, but mixing in other favorite girls, and the MON girls are basically main characters that could get away with solo exposure.
The Cow arc was just new girls upon new girls we'll never see again.
