>Story and BackstoryAs recently revealed in the manga, Rachnera was sent into the human world by her people to see if it was worth even trying to engage. She was mistreated at first because her initial host family sent her away due to an accident where her sharp claws cut the daughter of the family inadvertently. They "sold" her to a guy who just wanted to exploit her for her silk, but she eventually realised he was a big goof, tied him up in her webs and left. After meeting Kurusu she realised that not all humans are selfish and joined the household hoping to get closer to him and over time has adjusted better to the human world.
