I'm an argumentative type so discussions like that always manage to sucker me in and when you constantly engage people who don't get Rin or even attack her in malicious and dishonest ways because of an axe to grind it's easy to forget just how popular and beloved Rin and her romance with Shirou as well truly are. It's why I can't ever truly mind anime-onlies. Their love for Rin is simplistic but earnest and pure. I wish I could be more like them honestly.
