>>3837627may be true for other boards but i highly doubt that would happen here. /c/ can range from 450-800 posts per day depending on time of the year - there were points in 2018 where /c/ averaged 1000+ a day. also most newer shows don't normally get dedicated threads due to the lack of initial art or lack of care for starting a new general. just check out the catalog and see that hardly any girls from last year have a general (if any) - they normally get one off threads every now and then
from what i can tell, /c/ is speeding up due to more image dumps spread out over numerous threads which cause more threads to get pushed to page 1 all at once. the opposite of the "one post a day" most threads normally get, which provided a much slower board
