>>3331197imo it is more useful since you get an extra tag to refine your search as well as get /c/ related content - although in your case i guess you don't search "rating:safe" so it doesn't really apply to you, but it can make searching for cute images more efficient since you won't have to mentally block them and more /c/ appropriate images will show per page.
i personally dislike all explicit and a majority of questionable artwork since i just can't find it cute or enjoyable at all - there can be some very good questionable artwork out there since i firmly believe that the female body is beautiful and can be admired with being lewd or sexual, but it can't be posted here so i don't really mind missing out on it (explicit is just a solid no for me).
in the end it boils down to personal preference but most booru sites work well
