Her series takes place in a purgatory called Glie which is essentially a small, anachronistic European town permanently stuck in the early 20th century. So the setting is realistic enough to be able to make that comparison to a real life time and place, but it doesn't actually take place in the real world.

No way. I think she would like some kinds of games but I don't think she would ever be a big gamer or anything. I think she'd like games like old CRPGs, Harvest Moon, etc. Maybe I could rope her into playing the Halo trilogy with me. I'd love to get her into fighting games but I don't think she'd enjoy them, and probably never beat me at them.

If the weather was nice and we wanted to go on a picnic for instance we'd obviously go during the day, but if it was colder or raining it would be more likely we'd go to a restaurant or something during the night.
